Steven
and Rebeka Swift of "'Hallelujah Brangus Stud" located at Greenview, Wondai in the South Burnett would
like to take this opportunity to introduce themselves and their business to you.
As
a newly married couple (14 years now) with two young boys named Bryce and Brendan, the Swift's set on an exciting
adventure to live the lifestyle that they were both brought up in- "Country living".
Moving
from Brisbane in February of 1998 to their productive little property in Wondai
(11
years now on farm) has proven to be one of the best decisons they made together as a family. The next best choice was to take on the role of breeding what they say
is the best breed of cattle in Australia and the world.
It
all started in September 2001 when they purchased 4 Brangus heifers from the local sale yards in Murgon.
Prior
to this the couple had been buying various mixed breeds of cattle and turning them over with profitable success.
Steven
and Rebeka were very impressed with the growth rate, and appearance of the Brangus heifers in just a short time after
their purchase.
Following
this they looked into the breed, and realized what they had was a quality line of cattle, and so they embraced the Brangus
breeding programme with much enthusiasm, and have come a long way with their Brangus Stud herd since then.
Some new
news Steven and Rebeka are now signed up for Brangus Breedplan, yes you guessed it this means EBV,s (Estimated Breeding Values)
for Hallelujah's progeny.
Steven and Rebeka are going to be able to ensure their client's 100% Black or Red Progeny
with Genstar Black for 2009 and years to come.
Steven and Rebeka are now also Breeding Red Brangus from September 2009.
